Malibu renovation beginning to take shape!

Excited to finally have broken ground on this 3200sf renovation near Zuma Beach in Malibu, CA. This house was a victim of the Woolsey fire that tore through the area back in November 2018. The house was fortunate to survive the blaze, but not without rendering it uninhabitable. Our clients decided to take this as an opportunity to rework the interior flow of the house and completely overhaul the exterior by maximizing the amazing views the property affords. Here are some progress shots as this humble ranch house transforms into a beautiful Malibu modern farmhouse overlooking the ocean.

Reframing the great room ceiling to lift the roof and the eye towards the magnificent view of the Pacific.

The entire rear portion of the home will be reglazed in large pocketing sliders in both the great room and master bedroom providing an incredible indoor/outdoor expansion.
